The establishment of the scientific research marketing unit at Northern Boarders University was driven by the recognition of the significant role of marketing scientific research in contributing to society. In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its efforts to narrow the gap between scientific research outcomes and labor market demands, this unit was created within the Deanship of Scientific Research. The primary objective of this unit is to offer various services to support researchers and stimulate their work, aiming to enhance their productivity and encourage their contributions.

Praise God, and may prayers and peace be upon the most honorable prophets and messengers, our prophet Muhammad, and all his family and companions. Scientific research is a valuable tool for continuous planning and development in the present and future. It has garnered support from numerous countries and universities to align its objectives with the needs of public life, including economic, social, health, and other areas of sustainable development.

In keeping with global and national trends in scientific research and knowledge, Northern Border University aims to achieve a significant transformation in this field through its 2020-2025 strategic plan and the strategic plan for research and innovation in 2020-2024. Consequently, the launch of the Scientific Research Marketing Unit within the Deanship of Scientific Research is planned for 2023. This unit will benefit the university and the broader community by enhancing existing efforts and showcasing work and initiatives through creative platforms. The focus will be on developing all services provided, emphasizing quick and easy access through the website, social media, and other media outlets. The aim is to improve the educational services offered continuously.
